Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Sautéing

  • In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 2 cups of fresh spinach and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until wilted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Mixing

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together 6 large eggs, 1 cup of milk, and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Season with salt, black pepper, and nutmeg.

Combining

  • Once the spinach has cooled, chop it roughly and fold it into the egg mixture.

Baking

  • Lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish. Pour the spinach and egg mixture into the dish and spread it out evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.

Serving

  • Let the quiche cool for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving warm or at room temperature.
