Cooking Pasta

  • Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once it’s at a rolling boil, add your choice of pasta, such as fettuccine. Cook according to the package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes. Remember to stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

Preparing Chicken

  • While the pasta cooks, heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season your chicken breast with salt and pepper. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken to the skillet. SautĂ© for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 165°F for safety.

Adding Garlic and Spinach

  • After the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and fresh spinach. SautĂ© for about 2-3 minutes until the spinach wilts and the garlic becomes fragrant.

Creating the Creamy Sauce

Combining Everything
