  • 1 Baking sheet For baking the wontons if preferred.
  • 1 Oil For frying the wontons.

Ingredients
  

Protein

  • 1 pound ground chicken Main protein for the filling.
  • 1 package wonton wrappers Used to create the taco shells.

Vegetables

  • 1 each bell pepper, diced Adds flavor and color.
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce For topping the tacos.
  • 1 each avocado, sliced Creamy topping for the tacos.
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped For garnish and flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning For seasoning the chicken.
  • to taste none lime juice For drizzling on top.

Instructions
 

Prepare the Filling

  • In a skillet, heat a drizzle of oil over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned. Stir in taco seasoning and diced bell pepper, cooking until the pepper is tender, about 5 minutes.

Shape the Wontons

  • Lay out wonton wrappers and spoon a small amount of the chicken mixture into the center of each. Fold and seal the edges to form a taco shape.

Cook the Wontons

  • For crispy wontons, fry in oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Alternatively, bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes until crispy.

Assemble

  • Fill cooked wontons with shredded lettuce, sliced avocado, cilantro, and drizzle with lime juice.
