Dry Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Yeast Active dry yeast works best.
  • 1/4 cup Sugar Can substitute with honey or maple syrup.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Sea salt or kosher salt recommended.

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Condensed milk Star ingredient for sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup Milk Whole milk or plant-based options can be used.
  • 1 large Egg Can substitute with flaxseed meal or egg replacer.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Almond extract can be used as an alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder Optional for extra fluffiness.

  • 1/4 cup Butter Unsalted butter recommended.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather your ingredients: all-purpose flour, yeast, sugar, salt, butter, milk, egg, vanilla extract, and condensed milk.

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Whisk until well blended.

Prepare Wet Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, mix condensed milk, warm milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Combine Mixtures

  • Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.

Knead Dough

  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

First Proofing

  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.

Shape Dough

  • Once risen, punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.

Second Proofing

  • Place the shaped dough in a greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes.

Bake Bread

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Cool and Enjoy

  • Remove from oven, cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
