Instructions
 

Prepare the Pineapple

  • Begin by slicing a fresh pineapple into thick rings, about 1/2 inch each. Make sure to remove the core.

Make the Batter

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, coconut flakes, sugar, and baking powder. Gradually add cold water and coconut extract, stirring until smooth.

Heat the Oil

  • Heat about 2 inches of oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Test readiness by dropping a small amount of batter into the oil.

Fry the Rings
