Graham Crackers

Batter Ingredients

Frying Oil

  • 2 inches Vegetable Oil Canola or peanut oil can also be used.

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ingredients

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. You’ll need graham crackers, semi-sweet chocolate, mini marshmallows, and a batter made from all-purpose flour, baking powder, and milk. Having everything ready will streamline the process.

Make the Batter

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add 1 cup of milk, whisking until the batter is smooth. It should be thick enough to coat the bites but not too runny.

Assemble the Bites

  • Cut the graham crackers into squares, about 2 inches each. On half of the squares, place a piece of chocolate and a mini marshmallow. Top with another graham cracker square to create a sandwich. Press gently to seal.

Heat the Oil

  • In a frying pan, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium heat. To test if the oil is ready, drop a small amount of batter into the oil. If it sizzles and rises to the surface, you’re good to go!

Coat the Bites

  • Dip each assembled s’mores bite into the batter, ensuring it’s fully coated. Allow any excess batter to drip off before frying. This step is crucial for achieving that crispy texture.
