Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour The backbone of your cruffins!
  • 2 teaspoons Yeast Make sure it’s fresh for the best results!
  • 1/4 cup Sugar A touch of sweetness.

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk Whole milk or any non-dairy substitute.
  • 1/2 cup Butter Use unsalted for a rich flavor.

Instructions
 

Dough Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, yeast, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add warm milk and melted butter, stirring until a shaggy dough forms.

Kneading

  • Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Proofing

  • Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.

Rolling Technique

  • Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

Layering

  • Spread softened butter over the rolled dough and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

Cutting and Filling

  • Cut the dough into rectangles, place your filling at one end, roll tightly, and tuck the ends under.

Preparing the Muffin Tin

  • Grease a muffin tin and place each rolled cruffin into the cups.

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Cooling

  • Allow cruffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
