  • 10 large Large Marshmallows These are the stars of the show! You can also use mini marshmallows for bite-sized fun.

Batter

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour For the batter.
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder To help the batter rise.
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar For sweetness in the batter.
  • 1 cup Milk To create the batter.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract For flavoring the batter.

Oil

  • 2 inches Vegetable oil or canola oil For frying.

  • to taste Powdered sugar For dusting after frying.

Gather Your Ingredients

  • Start by collecting all the necessary ingredients. You will need large marshmallows, all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and your choice of frying oil, such as vegetable or canola oil.

Prepare the Batter

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Then, gradually add 1 cup of milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.

Heat the Oil

  • In a deep pot or fryer, heat about 2 inches of oil to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer to ensure the oil reaches the right temperature.

Coat the Marshmallows

  • Dip each marshmallow into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated. Allow any excess batter to drip off.

Fry the Marshmallows

  • Carefully place the battered marshmallows into the hot oil, a few at a time. Fry them for about 1-2 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Make sure to turn them occasionally for even cooking.

Drain and Cool

  • Once golden brown, use a slotted spoon to remove the marshmallows from the oil. Place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

Serve Warm
