  • 1 Juice Lemon Freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup Green Tea Brewed and cooled

Sweetener

  • 1 tablespoon Honey or Agave Syrup For sweetness
  • a pinch Cayenne Pepper To taste
  • 2 cups Water Filtered

Preparation Steps

  • Gather all the necessary ingredients.
  • In a small pot, bring your water to a gentle boil.
  • Add the freshly grated ginger and allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  • Add honey or agave syrup to taste and stir until dissolved.
  • Sprinkle in the cayenne pepper and mix thoroughly.
  • If using green tea, steep the tea bag in the hot mixture for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Strain the mixture into a glass and serve hot or cold.
