Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your fresh ingredients: 4 ripe tomatoes, 1 medium red onion, 1 jalapeño, 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, the juice of 1 lime, and 1 teaspoon of sea salt. Having everything ready makes the process smoother.

Dicing and Chopping

  • Dice the tomatoes into small, even pieces. Finely chop the red onion. If too strong, soak in cold water for a few minutes. Seed and mince the jalapeño, adjusting for heat preference. Chop the cilantro coarsely.

Mixing

  • In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced jalapeño, and cilantro. Squeeze lime juice over the mixture and sprinkle with sea salt. Gently mix everything together.

Resting
