Preparation

  • Whip the cream: Pour 1 cup of heavy cream into a mixing bowl and whip until soft peaks form.

Mascarpone Mixture

  • Prepare the mascarpone mixture: In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of mascarpone cheese, ½ cup of sugar, and ½ cup of pistachio paste. Blend until smooth.

Layering

  • Dip the ladyfingers: Quickly dip 24 ladyfinger cookies into the coffee substitute.
  • Layer the ingredients: In a serving dish, layer dipped ladyfingers, followed by half of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat with another layer of ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Chilling

  • Chill the dessert: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Serving
